Hi! I'm Meagan, pronounced Mee-gan. Thanks Ma!
What does one say in an about me section? Let's see... I am what most would call an old soul. I love reading, knitting, sewing, memory keeping and watching the same tv shows and movies on repeat. And yet, I'm also a kid at heart who finds absolute joy in the smallest things. I LOVE to travel, but then again, who doesn't?
It was a two-month backpacking trip to Europe in 2008 that spurred me to start shooting on a "big" camera. I took some classes to make sure I knew how to use the thing and off I went on the adventure of a lifetime. While it was many moons ago and I've since taken a million more photos, it never ceases to amaze me as I look back through pictures how one simple photograph can spur such a multitude of memories.
Over the years, as life continues to speed by and people have come and gone, there is one truth that becomes more and more evident: at the end of the day, memories are all we have left. Photography helps us to freeze the fleeting moments in life and allows us to relive those times, even if just for a brief second. I'm here to help you preserve some of those moments in your life through photographs that will allow you to savour life as it is now in the years to come.
